So I really need to know where to start. I have a SF2 in an old Defender cabinet. I about a month after I bought it the old power supply went so I replaced it with a new switching power supply. A few weeks ago I ran in to this problem where the monitor would kick on but the game wouldn't. I also noticed that the little red light on my new power supply wasn't turning on as it usually did when the game was running. I took my voltage meter and noticed I was not getting 5V from from my power supply so, I popped in a known working working switching power supply from one of my other machines and still had the same problem. I then took the SF2 PCB and put it in to another Jamma machine which started right up. Thinking it may of been some of the powersupply wiring I replaced the pigtail, AC Filter, and Fuse holder and still had the same problem. What do you guys think I should try next?? I checked all the wire connections on the jamma harness and made sure everything was connected to the switching power supply correctly. Any thoughts?
