This time it was the New Frontier. The whole north end of the Strip is becoming really high end (and out of my price range.)

I use to go to Vegas every year, this year was my last year for Vegas. You have to go to the dives to find a 5 dollar table. The food is also expensive. Not to mention the crowds. The weekends are awful.

The last time I went to Vegas (last year at this time) sucked. You're right about the $5 tables being gone. Same with the cheap slots. I also could barely find anyone to bring drinks while playing (used to be they would constantly come by). You can't really gamble for long without spending a ton of money anymore. Also little annoying things like a big bottle of water in your room with a sign on it saying you would be charged $5 on your bill if you open it. This after being raped at the blackjack tables 10 minutes earlier.

How could you post a topic like this without a video?

If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Vegas used to be famous for cheap hotel rooms and $2.99 buffets. They finally figured out that people would still come if they raised the prices - kind of like the price of gas.
Too bad, I used to like Vegas.

The rise of Native American casinos is a big part of this, too... they're popping up all over New England with more coming.
