It's actually pretty funny. It emulates an entire boot cycle, with the XP loading screen and all. Then it Blue Screens again...just like a real Windows OS!

What a weird thing to find on a Microsoft site.   :dizzy:

I would take this as proof that irony is alive and well.

I like to see a sense of humor in a megacorp.  Maybe I've just been playing too much Portal.

Aperture Science
We do what we must, because we can
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who are dead
But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done
And you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive

I work in IT, and my managers desktop crashed on him this morning. So he re-imaged the whole system...

While he was out at lunch, I put this screensaver on his computer. When he got back, I really got a kick out of watching him stand in his cube and stare in disbelief at his newly minted OS in the midst of a endless BSOD cycle.  ;D

LOL I see it more like a big "FU" to their customers.  "Here's a nice screensaver that features some of the common problems with our OSs past and present.  Enjoy, and thanks for the billions!"

I've seen that before, but had no idea it was distributed my MS themselves.   :laugh2:

My costume at work today (we really can't dress in costumes, so this is the most I could pull off)
I'm a Bluuuuue Screeeeeen of Deeeeeeath!

I don't say anything about it when I walk into people's cube to troubleshoot...some people take a minute to get it. Then they get a kick out of it. This photo was shot in the wild, so it's kinda' blurry.

Thats awesome. Plus, you look a whole lot like Diedrich Bader, the guy who played Oswald on the Drew Carey Show.
