Your most recent cool mame find for games
« on: October 17, 2007, 04:33:23 pm »
Its funny before I visited this site I had never played bombjack before. Its actually a fun game. With so many games in mame you have to wonder how many games that are hidden away in there that are really fun to play.

just recently I ran into spelunker. i am really enjoying it. I didnt know there was an arcade version of this game. there are alot of improvements. specifically they allow you to fall a bit more. wich makes the game much more fun to run around and explore.

so what is your most recent cool mame find that is fun to play.

I have a serious addiction to Klax, which I had never seen before I got into this hobby.  I've also discovered Daraku Tenshi, that's a fighter that I think is fairly fun, the characters are amusing and the artwork/graphics are fairly cool.  I actually mostly played drivers/shooters in the arcades of my youth and not having a wheel or gun has made me find all kinds of "new" games to play.

There are a few of these threads around.  Unfortunately they are hard to find with a search.  Here are a couple:

My spousal unit is addicted to Puzzle Loop 2.  there are quite a few variation on that type of game but she likes this one b/c of the extra stuff.

Oh man, I remember watching the TV show with the same music.  ...rather the game getting music from the TV show.

BTW, if you want to browse some games in a hurry, here's 288 of my favorites in 9 minutes:
