Mame CE3 is one for CE, I tried it with a Tempest Rom on my iPaq and it ran well but the cotrols sucked.

YAME works great for me - good luck trying to find it though :).  I have the Cassiopeia EM-500 - buttons are sort of layed out like a GameBoy and let you press more than one at a time.  I play GameBoy, GameBoy Colour, and NES games with it.  It also emulates TurboGrafx16, but the EM-500 is too slow to play TG16 games properly.

If you're one of the poor saps with an iPaq, good luck at playing games as they only accept one button imput at a time.  Unless you get the GameBoy add-on controller, so you can REALLY make it look stupid :).

At what point would it be easier to just BUY a GameBoy?   ;D

Easier, yes.  But with games going at $10-$30 a pop, you can save yourself lots of money if you have lots of games, and play on a bigger backlit screen with the iPaq.  Or save yourself even more money and buy a Cassiopia e-115, em-500, or one of the other models with the gameboy style button interface to play games on.

not the best fix, but i play on my ipaq with the stowaway keyboard (you get multiple button presses).... so it's like playing an emulator on your regular desktop (more like a laptop kb) that way...  BOOYAH.  btw they fixed that ipaq problem if in the later models, right?  but, i got my H3635 new for $150 (THANKS FATWALLET) so i don't complain about silly button problems.

Palm GB is what I used in CE 2.X, it does GB and GBC full speed with sound on most devices.

So, you're using Palm software on a WinCE device?

So why's it called 'Palm GB?'

The Pocket PC platform used to be called "Palm Sized PC" before Windows CE 3.0 came out... but someone felt that it was a no-no...
Some of the software still has that name theme...
