For the Double Dragon Fans...
« on: September 10, 2007, 09:44:15 pm »
Hello, this is my first post, I've been reading the forum for a while, learned a lot, and you guys have inspired me to start my own home cab  ;D.
Now back to the point of the post, I just wanted to share something about one my favorite games, it’s a remake of DD1 & DD2, called "Double Dragon Forever". It is just a Demo with 4 playable levels (well 2 full levels, as level 3 its too short, and 4 gets stuck after beating a couple guys in the beginning). The ideas and work done by these people in my opinion is OUTSTANDING. They managed to keep all the good stuff for the first two original releases, and adds some neat tricks; just what DD3 should've been, in my opinion. The game itself if freeware.

You can find more info. and snaps about the game here:

This is the main programmer’s web site:

I tried to find a working download link on the net, without luck, so I uploaded copy of the demo on rapidshare. You can get it here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/54829216/ddf.zip.html

The mentioned release date is 2007, but don’t get your hopes too high, as no development has been seen or heard for over a year, from its developer, Cleber de Mattos.

Btw, probably some of you already seen it, but here's a funny DD parody video.

Thank's for the link. I remeber seeing some screenshots a few couple years back. I thought the project was dead. Nice to here it's still being worked on. The last post from the programmer is dated Sep. 18 2007 so there's still hope.
