That was definitely ingenious, way better than putting a car on the roof or stealing a statue that they just replaced from the last one being stolen 20 some years ago :~

It was totally worth it. ;D

At our high school, they banned inter-grade insulting. You know, like when the seniors chanted "Freshman suck" or the classic turn their backs and read a newspaper when the freshmen are introduced at a pep rally. Pep rallys were never the same...

We were able to obey the rules enough to keep ours. They bribed us with an hour lunch if we behaved.

It was ingenious when Yale came up with the prank first. This kid just copied it. He's an ambitious kid, for sure; but he's no genius.

Doesn't matter who came up with it.  Anyone who can trick 800 people at once into slamming themselves in public simultaneously is a genius.  Even if it's a known method.
