"Head 2 Head" 2 Player Fighting Machine
« on: August 07, 2007, 02:46:35 pm »
I built an "arcade in a box" a few months ago (no pics yet) and have not posted anything about it yet, because I was debating artwork for the top.

Well...i think i finally finished it.

The only games it will have are fighters...and I love the marvel vs. capcom games

Some basics:  It is a 30"x15"x8" box, with a CP on top.  Inside of that box is a complete computer system.  The back panel has RCA Video and Audio outputs, a Power Button, and the Power Cord.  It's meant to be a mobile gaming system (so i can use it on my Dad's 42" Plasma when I visit him).  I'm hoping to get pics up soon.

comments, suggestions, questions?

Based on your CP artwork and the fact that it's a fighter cab only, I'd name it
"Head to Head".

Nice CP.

I like that title suggestion from (+_+), (whose name is surprisingly easy to type.)

I like the 'instruction card'.  Nice.

I really liked the Head to Head idea....and here's what I came up with.

Also, no pics yet of the machine, I cannot find the cable that attaches my camera to my PC.

I'll get them up soon, just not certain when.

Why not Zero and Megaman instead of 2 megamen? Dont get me wrong, I love the look you have, was just curious.

Also, I really like the instruction card too...except I use both middle buttons as block in MK , its easier then remembering which is block and which is dead.

I cant wait to see the cab.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

The toughest part of the artwork, was finding something that was either already vectorized, or something that could be vectorized very easily.

localarcade.com has a lot of pictures, but nothing that i liked/matched the megaman style.

if you have any images, or suggestions on where to go, i'd love to see em.

thanks!
