SpaceMonkey - updated 08/04/07
« on: July 24, 2007, 03:04:48 pm »
This will be my n00b attempt at refurbishing my original Mame machine. (It was a beat-up Marble Madness in its previous life).  Its not going to be out of this world but an improvement of what I have. The second pic shows the piece I cut off for my new cp.

Small update....Had my little helper paint the cabinet black.  I made the cp box.  I've got more painting to do....
I also added the chrome t-molding and a 5 inch lcd tv on the top between the speakers.

That looks like a translucent TB.  If so, how are you going to light it?

The trackball comes with a built in light that connects to one of the power terminals from the pwr supply.  :applaud:

I think you should somehow tie the marquee art in with the CP art so it doesn't look disjointed.
Perhaps using that CP pattern inside the Space Monkey logo and outlining the text with a very bold line so its easy to read.

Yeah, I agree about the marquee and the CP.  I have to somehow match them up  :dunno

Wow, I feel like I'm falling or something while looking at that control panel...
