Hopefully, not too late??
Is there actualy an antiglare coating?? This is used on smaller monitor tubes extensively, and some of the larger tv's.
Or is it a scratch in the glass?
If there is antiglare and you start to remove the scratch then be prepared to remove the glare coating on the entire screen, because once you start on that small scratch you are in for the entire thing.
If it is the glass, try going to a glass/window replacement store and ask them. What we use at the factory in these cases is a very fine sand like substance called Pumice. This is applied by wetting a wet rag dipping it in the pumice and then buffing, with extreme scratches we use an elctric buffer and the pumice.
Good luck
