Small GameEX Issue w/pix
« on: January 18, 2007, 05:07:43 pm »
I am messing around with setting up GameEX on my soon-to-be cocktail cabinet and for some reason,  when I click to see an enlarged version of the control panel,  flyer, etc...it fades the image in at such a slow rate it literally takes 20 seconds for the image to appear....any way to modify this value or remove the fade in?

EDIT: It's running on in a verical orientation as well (though via my driver NOT the rotate option in GameEX which seemed to slow everything down to a crawl when i attempted to use it for whatever reason).

I assume you are using an ati graphics card? If so roll back the driver.  I believe sept or october release.  This is a known issue.

Yah...it's an ATI card...but the drivers are pretty old I do believe.  That said,  I will mess with the drivers...

You can turn off the feature. I believe its in display properties.  Click advanced configurations.  I don't believe its in the setup wizard.  I think its 3d alpha blend videos.

I believe I put that option under performance in the Setup Wizard. But I may move it into display settings as well for next release.
