You are trying to use directly a Saturn CD with the emulator or you are using a CD image on your Hardrive?

I think the first option is not possible.

I have tried both.
backed up cd (worked with swap method on real saturn)
and the cue files on HD.

the plug and play SSF will not let me do anyhing. I start the emu and the
screen shows cd not ready.
mouse is not visable. I get stuck.
ctrl alt delete , end progam is all I can do

Ok as i said in PM  , this is how to proceed to make work the Plugnplay saturn module with the last version of Daemon tool.  (the version seems to have changed since the module have been released)

I tested only on Windows XP.

Here how to proceed :

Download Daemon-tools 4.08 X86  here :

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=Download&id=81

Install it.

Install the Saturn plugnplay module.

Copy your roms in your  <Atomicfe>\plugnplay\saturn\roms folder

Go in program files\DAEMON tools folder .
   - copy the file DAEMON.EXE  which is here to  <atomicfe>\plugnplay\saturn folder  (replace existing one)

Right click on the DAEMON tools icon in the task bar (near the clock on the bottom right of windows desktop)
    choose "option"
        -untick Secure Mode
        -untic Automount
  then
    choose "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM"
        -then "Device 0 : .... "
        -then "Set Device Parameter"
            -Uncheck "Auto insert Notification"

Run Atomic.exe , choose Saturn , choose your rom  and play!
