Weird Pac Man...
« on: January 06, 2007, 10:34:46 am »
I know this style of cab for Pac Man, but I haven't seen it with that black and white "art" on the cab...looks better than the wood-grain IMHO.

Also the bezel is obvious not original, but the rest is authentic:

A whopping €900,- has been offered (about $1100,- !!)....but it's a pretty rare find I guess..

Judging by the condition of that game... it's just an original that someone "went to town" on with some paint.  Not all that rare of a find.  Worth maybe $200.   :dunno

I agree with Wade on this, since the bezel, art and wood grain was painted over and now makes the cab look like a piece of crap, its worth about $200-$400 at best. I have seen nice cabs that are original selling for $400-$500. Not like this monster..
Dedicated Cabaret cabs I currently own:
Neo Geo/ GT Complete/Mspac galaga reunion
full size cabs: Playchoice 10 Single Monitor/Nicktoons Racing/Junior King Cocktail/ Super Punchout/

Well if i would be buying a Pac Man, it must be the full upright anyway. I personaly hate woodgrain....it is SOOOO fake. Remember that here in Holland you don't see a Pac Man cab (or even any classic arcade cab) offered that much. I agree though that the offer is way too high. Maybe for a nice and working tempest or Asteroids.....not for this !

Whaoahahahaha, turned out the fool who tries to sell this offered that €950,- himself ! (I mailed him my offer, and he replied he wants 950 for it.......very coincidently that that was also the highest offer. WAS, because the site owners removed that offer, probably because it came from the advertiser !!!

Think he now got a friend to offer 750.....if not, he's a lucky guy to get that much for it.

This is funny...
