How about Rock 'N' Roll Racing? I loved that game on SNES

RC Pro-Am was pretty kick ass for NES

My favourite arcade racers are Out Run and Chase H.Q.
Out Run had the Ferrari, the Blonde and 'Magical Sound Shower'! Chase HQ - Black Porsche, turbo boosts and samples like 'Go Mister Driver', top stuff! :applaud:
Modern Racers- GTR 2 :notworthy:

Stunts.  Hands down.  So buggy and difficult but FUN.

man that was good stuff

YES!
I was wondering if someone else would mention that.  That game blew me away at the time (1990 or so?).  Also the inclusion of a track editor to make your own tracks was an amazing feat at the time.  It was also my first experience with 'instant replays' and variable camera positions.  I can vividly remember laughing our asses off at our pathetic attempts at driving while watching those replays.
