Congressional aide admits trying to hire hackers (from a security website!!) -- to boost his college GPA, does the whole thing over email...
Hackers lead him on, then report him to authorities.

He actually went and took a picture of a squirrel.
:laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

When you are doing the wrong thing and you put your trust into people that you do not know, and they wanna have some fun, ghaw the possibilities are endless. Wonder how long he hunted around for a squirrel before snapping off some shots.

The guy is beyond dumb. He was willingly handing over his social security # and other personal info to someone who is obviously a hacker (since that was what he wanted them for). If he didn't get outed, he would have gotten his identity stolen and bank account wiped out.
I've got a fever...

It's possible he did and is just too embarrassed/afraid to report it.  Reporting it would likely implicate him in the crimes he attempted to contract.

He has already admitted to trying to trying to hire the hacker. He has subsequently been fired.

Fired isn't the same as going to the Police and saying "I tried to hire a criminal to commit a crime and he stole my money."

Since they were misleading him and not actually going to commit the crime, I wonder if he can still potentially be charged with a sort of solicitation crime.

I'm sure this incident is nothing but a qualifier for his continued work in Washington. I'm sure the GOP will find some use for him.

Hey libtard...this forum isn't supposed to contain political discussion...take that to the politics forum.  I avoid that forum like the plague as I don't stand for anti-american pot shots at our sitting president or his administration (no matter WHAT party he is with).

Have a nice day...
