XBox power down question
« on: September 15, 2006, 02:34:29 am »
Is there any risk to the hardware or OS of a modded Xbox if it is shut down by just killing the power?  I'm considering my options for the control panel buttons for my driving cab project.  I'm going to wire the cab power strip to an ignition switch.  Putting in a CPU power button will be more hassle and be yet another button to deal with.  I'd rather just have the one switch if I can get away with it.

you can shut down the system through xbox media center 360 first then turn off your cabinet. just to be on the safe side.
