I was in SF recently, and found this museum.  That was the best thing I did while I was there.  So fun.  All these "arcade games" from quite a while ago.

Check out the Opium Den...

When you drop a coin the the Opium Den, a light turns on.

When you drop a coin in the Guillotine, the doors open to show a scene of a man in the guillotine -- head still attached.

There's not much to these "games", but I really enjoyed seeing them.

I realize that.  It was just another interesting game I found there.  Couldn't believe that a game like that would actually exist given the inherent risk in playing it.

It doesn't actually shock you. It just vibrates. I saw one of these when I was a kid, and was terrified to even come near it.  :laugh2:

Yeah, those Adam's Family machines can get painful after a while, but if you realize what is causing the pain, it gets easier to adjust to.

They do actually make things that will electify you a bit-go check out Spencer's. They have a handful of electric games out now, including a arm wrestling rig that shocks the loser. I tried one out, about the equivalent of licking a 9 volt battery, but on your hand.
