Very cool! Is that cab meant for stitting in front of, or is it just a short looking style like the candy cabs?

its based on a candy cab for sitting down at but im looking at adding a "box" to the bottom to it later to raise the height so you can play standing up

Someone figured out that if you hold in the on/off button on a TV, it will always be on when power is applied.  I tried this on my TV and it works great.  If this works for you, epoxy a stick or coin over the on button to hold it in.  Then when you turn on your power strip, the TV turns on.  When you turn it off, the TV turns off.

What are the dimensions you have??
Are you not confident to remove a 29" from its cabinet?

I have seen your questions on TM about screen sizes, lol.
Give me some dimensions and I will keep an eye out for ya.

This one looks like the one im using

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photography/TVs/Standard/CRT/Over-21-53cm/auction-80480317.htm

btw i have added perspex top to the control panel and fitted some cheesy warehouse car drink holders to the side.... ill take a photo soon

i never should have hooked up the system as we had a BBQ the other week and there was always people playing it (i.e. i never got a go) and the fact that most of my spare time now goes into using it rather finishing it

$350 reserve - that guys a bloody dreamer!!! New ones at teh warewhare are under that, with a component in too...

Ive been looking for similar ones.

Hint tho, go to your local cash converters and make insane offers on the ones you are interested in. They are not buying big tube tvs anymore and are trying to get rid of the ones they have.
