The thing that really strikes me about the art is that it's all over the place - there's no anchor, nothing that holds it together. The one common element that I've seen in most of the popular CPO's on this board is the use of some graphic element (often a grid, though I'm not reccomending that for yours) to help tie the various elements together.

With that in mind, suppose you took that blue "wave" that is a common element here and elsewhere on your cabinet and make that the base. Then select a complimentary color and use that to create the overlaying elements that you're using in your current design to hold the buttons, etc.

If I get more time, I'll try to show you what I mean.
