2 light gun games?
« on: May 25, 2006, 10:05:32 pm »
I finally broke down and bought the dual light guns from Act Labs. I have been using the single Act Labs gun for about a year now and think it works great but the idea of having 2 people go at the same time is great.
1. Now, while the guns are on order. Is there a list of Mame games that work with the 2 guns together?
2. I bought a bunch of the light gun PC games, does anyone know off hand if you can play 2 players at the same time?
Thanks for your help.

I assume this means you haven't discovered maws yet.  Something no mamer should be without.  Click on the deluxe search at the top of the page and then set control to 'lightgun', simultaneous players to '2' and hit search.  This page alone could answer soooooooooooo many of the questions that get asked on this board about mame.

And to answer your question about PC lightgun games, look into the 'troubleshooter'.

The PC games that i have are the Mad Dog series and the other games by the same company. I am not sure if you can play 2 players simultaeously.

I would be interested in knowing what you think of the guns when you get them. I am thinking about buying some too - but it will cost a lot getting dual guns shipped to australia. I am sure it will be worth it and most probably will buy them but i'd like to know your thoughts. Thanks

Well so far I have one dead gun but I hooked up the 2nd player gun to my old Act Labs Ray Gun and it works good. I wll have to wait until I get the other gun back from RMA and see how they work together. I like the new guns compared to the old Ray Gun.
