Mamewah extension issue
« on: February 28, 2003, 03:38:27 pm »
I have been setting up Mamewah for my cabinet emulators.  I noticed that Mamewah only allows one Rom extension (zip, nes, bin, smd...etc) to be added per emulator.  Is there a way to add more than one extension that I am not awar of?

Why would you need more than one extension per emulator?  I don't know of a single one that uses multiple extensions.

My Genesis games have more than one extension.  I believe they are .bin and .smd.

Yep zip them up if that works...

Howard, I do seem to have come across an emu or 2 that do not allow zip files.  WinVICE springs to mind - C64 emus allow .T64, .D64, .P00 and .PRG I think.

I do plan to add multiple extension support for the next release :)

I wouldn't bother.... those particular emulators ignore the file extension anyway, so a user can just batch convert them all to c64 or whatever.  Plus they are old and better console emulators have taken their place.  :)
