Update:
Ordered a missing MCR panel and a spinner with wiring out of an apright from Quarterarcade.com. I was surprised after soldering in the AA battery and wiring in a missing power card that it actually worked, fired right up like it was yesterday. Looks horrible, neglected for a long time like it may have been sitting for years in a warehouse, It was probably close to a part out considering the cabinet shape. But making it look good shouldn't be too hard, just start from the ground up and that's what I'm now in the process of.
Once running and in attract mode, couldn't play the game because of the #1 control panel missing. Swapped over the #2 panel to the #1 position and wired the pins to do 1&2 player start. It worked, registered a few credits and played a few rounds to try it out.
Decided it was time to start tearing it down to do a full restore. I carefully took it completely apart and I mean completely apart, only the ground wire was left stapled in the cabinet. Cabinet chewed up bad on the bottom, had missing legs that probably didn't help. Started sanding but seemed very time consuming. Decided to use a few cans of MEK stripper I had laying around. Worked great taking the veneer off. Pulled out the router and removed the bad sections on the bottom, ready for nailing good pieces to replace the bad.
Priced walnut veneer and T-molding. Stripped the "one" control panel currently posessed. Thinking about replacing the glass and the monitor, both look like crap. Monitor has burn-in really bad. In pieces and stripped of the veneer finish at the moment.
Happy that it worked, still need another joystick and a fabricated control panel for reassembly time.
Keeping eyes open for hard to find Joystick, hopefully soemone will come to rescue soon. pics to come
