New WinIPAC Version

There is now a new version of WinIPAC available on our site, for panel design and programming of I-PAC, J-PAC boards: http://www.ultimarc.com/download.html
This looks similar to the existing but is in fact almost completely re-written.
Improvements include:
Even faster USB download, it's now instant
Bug with IPC files saved under different folders fixed
I-PAC VE board bug fixed
User text display on the panel improved
Command-line "blind" IPC download mode improved
Non-English language Windows version bug fixed

Does it work with existing IPACs?

This is compatible with I-PAC and J-PAC boards shipped after 15th Jan 2004. An Upgrade  is available for older boards.

It works awesome. As Andy stated, the download is almost instantaneous and completely hidden from the user.

I take it that the new version is shipped on the cd for ipacs ordered after October 25?

I guess that means I'd better DL the update.  Mine just arrived this week.
