Rolling Roms (Refresh issue)
« on: October 27, 2005, 05:21:28 pm »
I keep getting wierd errors where the site is logging me out though I am set to never log out, but none the less.

Roms are rolling on screen.  I have an arcade monitor.  Ran arcadeVGA didn't fix.  How can I change the roms over to the correct refresh rate?

You don't...you adjust your v-hold ;)

So I need to figure out a way for the V-Hold control to come around front so that it can be adjusted by people depending on the game?  About half the games are working just fine, while the rest are rolling.

Any suggestions then to make V-Hold more accessible, since I don't want to leave the back of the arcade cabinet open all the time?

Usually only a small percentage of them will roll, and usually a small tweak to the vhold will find a spot that works for most modes. tweak it a little too much and then the games that were fine before will start rolling. You have to find what's called the "sweet spot". Also helps to not use any resolutions below a certain refresh rate.
NO MORE!!
