yeah so i did nothing again today, w00t

so heres my plan for the next 2 years, im looking forward to it

I work the rest of my time here (8 - 12 months about) until my boss moves to florida, going to school in the meantime, in the summer i plan on at least 2 classes also.

next year he moves, i collect unemployment due to losing my job beyond my circumstances (boss moving), i looked it up and its almost guarenteed i will qualify i dont see why not. I collect that for a year, which is the maximum time, meanwhile still going to school. this is all legal as long as im not going fulltime, meaning i will take 3 classes a semester instead of 4, and catch up with summer classes. also i can work with my friend working on cars part time off the books for extra cash.

by the end of unemployment i will almost have a 2 year degree, might have it complete. and will either A. find another fulltime job and continue part time college. or B. go fulltime college, find a part time job

i cant wait to get unemployment lol

I've actually gotten quite a bit done today. I have a little project that I have to get finished before January. I did about half of it in the last hour. Better slow down or I'll work myself out of a job. ;)

You do realize that the Unemployment office can stop paying if you are unable to prove you are actively seeking work...?

I've never collected unemployment (I'm sure most of you guys are suprised at that), but I thought all you had to do was apply to a few places every week.

Nope, if they want, they can make you provide a form that would be filled out by a hiring manager with which you interviewed.

If that manager doesn't make it look credible, and they may contact the manager so you can't fake it (it's a felony anyway), you can be cut off.

I'm just upset that she's leaving at the end of the month, she is the very best secretary that a person could ask for and I really think she should make the right decision and stay on.

(am I being subtle enough H?)  ;)

Speaking only for myself, Zakk, if she's leaving your employment to go elsewhere, she's a little touched in the head.  You're the nicest Canadian real-estate baron I know, and not only would she be a fool to leave you, she'll never find a better boss.

Heather, thank you for leaving him, and I look forward to working with you shortly ;D  I'll be more prompt in scanning your portfolio pics in to further your modeling career, making our employment relationship a win/win proposition for you.  I hope to see you soon, and I believe our uniform here will look better on you than any other employee.  For the rest of the geeks here, I've posted a picture of what your new uniform will look like below.  Zakk, best wishes, and I'll let you visit her whenever you like ;D

I am a nice Canadian.  We all are.  We NEVER EVER sue each other, right? ;D

She ain't givin up the potfolio.  Oh sure I begged and plied her with gin, she's having nunovit.  She said she'll put it up on Ebay and we can bid on it  :D

Here, however, is another shot of her molesting another secretary (who oddly enough quit a few months ago).  That's as close as any of us are getting to seeing her in her skivvies (unless the gin ploy finally works!)
Back for nostalgia, based on nostalgia.

that is true but in NJ its pretty laid back. I know several people who have collected it for the full year with no checkups or anything. my mom, my friends, NJ unemployment must be lazy

Everyone know that the Aussie spelling of 'boss' has three esses and a silent seven.

I'm kinda late to the party but...
Punched in promptly at 6:30 am
Looked forward to break,
ditto lunch and afternoon break.
clocked out at 3:00 pm.

Went home and the real work began.  Primed some antique airplane parts for a friend of a friend.  (MAME Cab subsidy.)  Then began fine tuning a stained glass panel for a friend of the missus.  (another MAME Cab subsidy).  Hmmmm a Stained glass Marquee...It has possibilities.

Now where did I set my beer!
