Is the challenge compenent missing in the game? I mean, it's all about strategy -- having a large vocabulary is definitely not the most important skill in Scrabble, but it can certainly work to your advantage in a big way to have someone challenge an obscure, but real, word once or twice in a game to give you extra turns.

well in that one, we play in realtime. its a java or flash type deal, no waitin for emails to go back and forth

I much prefer this back and forth email approach. It's like chess by mail and allows me to play my turn when I'm ready, without having to dedicate a vast amount of time to a full game at once.

Yep, in a real office, can't sit there and play a java game. This one was chosen because we can play when we have the chance.

I like this one too. If I were at home real time would be great, but as it is, my turn could be delayed for a half hour or even longer if something comes up.

And we're waiting for Seph to play again. This game could take the rest of the year at this rate.

Says I can't play because it's your turn. I think I saw a link to skip a turn. Provided there's no penalty to do that you can skip and we'll be back where we were before I took a teuqrap all over the board.

This is the two player game that Chad and I are playing, not the three player game that you're playing with us. No problems in that one, Chad just got a little itchy on the challenge trigger finger.
