Paige....we're your family. We must be, because you post wildly personal things about yourself on a regular basis for all of us to read. We'd have to be heartless not to care.
I understand, it is much the same with me, the way I am compelled to continually point out the following.
Plexiglass is for conversion cabs with holes under the overlay.
The Lusid cabinet is a bad design done with apparently with no reference to any actual arcade cabinets.
Player 3 and 4 do NOT get rotated sticks.
You will never use the 3rd and 4th joysticks (unless you have children or live in a dorm).
4 way joystick only needs 2 buttons.
Buy a coin door for God's sake, they only cost $20.
Why does your cabinet have to break into multiple pieces?
Trying to get JAMMA and mame to co-exist is more trouble than it is worth.
The computer should be the smallest part of your project budget.
A $50 computer kicks ass for mame, that other $600 you spent was wasted.
Don't extend, enlarge, or otherwise try to wrangle more control panel room out of a classic cabinet. It looks terrible, every time.
I think I remembered all of them, did I miss any?
