New light gun for Christmas?
« on: September 09, 2005, 05:46:08 pm »
I heard a while back there were going to be a couple PC based light guns released in time for Christmas. Does anyone have any recent updates on these?

There's at least two threads about the GunCon2 active right now:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=37872.0
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42790.0

and another gun:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42472.0

and the ACT Labs guns:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42054.0

So there seem to be several options available today or soon.

And there may finally be a solution to interfacing real Happ arcade guns coming.  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42472.0

Dunno if DreamArcades will want to buy these or not, considering the source.  Heck, dunno if the source will sell to DreamArcades!

Already got that topic, it's the middle one. Ha!

I'm not much into gun games, but it is obvious that interesting things are happening on that topic.

Oops, guess that's what I get for not clicking the links.  I figured since it said "another gun", it was for a gun, not an interface board.

You got me there, I didn't read that thread to closely. Just another gun link. Didn't realize it was a controller thing, not a gun itself. Ha!'s on me.
