Journey Sample...
« on: August 08, 2005, 11:22:19 am »
Since the song is copyrighted and I doubt MAME.NET will have that in thier Sample download section, did you RIP your own SEPWAYS.WAV file from your CD ? I am guessing that it would take around 50MB for that WAV file. I have not seen any on ABEM if there was RIP from the original tape.
Anyone tried it yet ? Is MAME handling this correctly ? There was a discussion about that MAME won't know a way to start the song from where it left off. Since the original machine had a tape player and a tape that loops, and when the song is done at any point in the song, the players power gets cut off and when its time to play it again during some stage of gameplay, it provides power to the player and it plays the song where it left off.
