ArcadeVGA nearly there but not quite
« on: August 07, 2005, 09:49:14 am »
Hi all. Ive FINALLY after a good 5 years got my arcade cab up and running. Ive got all my front end set up etc and im happy with the layouts and the picture quality colour etc. However theres still 1 thing i just cant solve. Like i say the quality is really good nice and crisp but there is about 1cm border on each side of the screen. The monitor doesnt have a pot to alter the size only the position. I can see that the monitor is actually displaying the full screen because there is a slight shadow line and it works fullscreen with a older card and advmame. It looks worse in windows but this maybe because the screen is lot brighter. Any help advice would be great thanks

Hi the monitor is a WellsGardner WG19K7601. I think its a generic cab made by DEITH leisure has premier on the side. I do know its been sat playing raiden for a few years due to a little screen burn. There is a vertical size position etc but theres no horizontal size. So i can make the picture bigger.
Ive used the monitor before with a ATI Rage card running Advance mame and it fills the screen with no problems so i know theres not a issue with the monitor. This has only come about since using the Arcade VGA which is a amazing bit of kit might i add. Any ideas
