What a novel idea... eat less!
« on: June 10, 2005, 01:11:43 pm »

This is what it has come down to... a 'diet' idea comprised of eating less is so novel now that it is news.

Just another diet fad, if you ask me.

Next year it'll be the carbs-only diet.

How about the "get off your lazy ass turn off the T.V. and go for a long walk" diet

That needs to be the next fad

On that note, I left my cube, walked down to the first floor, up to the fifth, down to the first, up to the fifth, and back to my cube.   :-*

LOL - About 2 years ago I was suffering from stomach pains as my eating habits were terrible. I went to the docs and she said I needed to lose weight so I asked for some advice on how to do this, she turned round and looked at me like I was a 2 year old and said

"Yeah, eat less"

If only all the solutions to lifes problems were that easy!

That sounds like a good idea.

Does it come in the form of a pill?

It needs to be a once a week pill too, I don't want to take a pill every day.

Those old herpes medication commercials were like that.  "I don't want to take 3 pills a day, it's too much hassle."  I'm sitting there like, YOU HAVE OPEN WOUNDS ON YOUR PENIS, TAKE THE DAMN PILLS.

Hopefully the imagery will help you avoid the problem.

After all, you don't want to take three pills a day.

Damn, that post is even funnier with the autocensor.

I have one Im working on and will publish next year: The Force It Down Fork In the Road diet

Basically, whenever you are tempted to reach for a snack, you force yourself to choose a healthy option, all the while telling yourself you will eat the unhealthy snack as well. (That's the key. You do not feel you are denying yourself!)

So you force the apple down your throat and then your craving should be gone, so you don't bother with the unhealthy snack.

Well, that's a fad diet in and of itself.  Forcing an apple down your throat SHOULD block your throat from accepting all other foods, thereby causing you to lose weight.....can't talk now, I'm off to the patent office!
