I'm gonna give a little different perspective on this issue. If she died tomorrow, how long would you regret not calling her? I had an ex-girlfriend, real bad breakup, she wouldn't speak to me, it split our group of friends, etc., etc. Over time, we talked once or twice more, but never really resolved anything. She died in '99 from an aneurysm, and I've always regretted not picking up the phone and setting things right with her.
Get back together with her, no. But do consider calling her to give yourself some closure. You may find that she's not the ideal person you'd like to remember, or you may find that you've both matured. You'll never know unless you call.
