This has always perplexed me: when Americans get cold air from the north its called "that cold canadian air" and when they get warm air from the south its "a warm southern front". Was it somehow discussed in years past that air from the north somehow belongs to canadians and we are somehow directing it your way out of some maliciousness?? Why do people in illinois still call it that when it clearly comes from Wisconsin. strange...

I'm originally from Michigan and have just recently moved to New England. The weather here isn't any better, although we didn't get this late snow.

I've been down south before when it snows. people look at you like your crazy if your driving in an inch of snow, or even harboring the idea of it.

The coolest thing about living in Michigan is that you can point people to where you live by using the palm of your hand. I miss being able to do that.
