The final boss in Die Hard Arcade, he is rediculous.

Every level on Robotron that features nothing but spheroids and quarks. Actually, every screen on Robotron past the first Quark stage, but especially the spheroid/quark combo stages.

Turkey March in Pump it Up. I can pass it, but I have to do it as my first stage or it will boot me off, but I am ready to pass out when I am done, so my game is over either way. Also, any song in Pump it Up that requires you to use hands in addition to your feet.

I find the default high scores in Star Wars Trilogy to be really irritating, even 50th place is essentially unreachable. I have been playing the game for YEARS and I can beat the game on one man with 100 percent life left having shot close to 100 percent of the opponents and I STILL can't even make 50th place.

Any situation in Defender or Stargate where you have a pod on the screen and don't have any smart bombs.

Wasting money playing a $5000 Ultracade with crappy $4 joysticks that always go diagonal when you have GOOD joysticks at home (My Ultracade Robotron high score is 190,000, my Multiwilliams one is 900,000).

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Dragon's Lair. The entire game frustrates me. From scene 1, to Scene 2 (since that's about as far as i seem to get!)
NO MORE!!

Okay.. maybe robotron I suck at, but Dragons Lair....
Can do that one in one life.
I could probably do it with my eyes shut, just listening to the
audio... thats pretty sad.

When you're 15 minutes into a game, nearing the end, and the coin mech stops working properly so you can't continue.

How about the ---tallywhacker--- at the arcade that comes from behind you (as you're scrambeling for more quarters, trying to beat the "Continue" clock), pumps in a few credits, and then dies.

I hate that guy.

Howabout spending 20$ worth of tokens to beat "Fantasy", and not actually beating it?

Now I can play it through on two credits or so. The game is a turd.

Has anyone fought "Blues" on Yie Ar Kung Fu.  I can beat him once, but the second time it's a mess.  Anyone who's fought him knows what I'm talking about.

Having a gay linebacker intercept my pass on the 2nd half of the pro team game in 10 yd fight, and he is clearly 4 yards away, but can jump like a high jump freak.

I've got 2.  I've got an Arkanoid in my basement.  To "continue" you must hold down fire before you hit the 1p button.  I have been a level or 2 before the boss, (I beleive the boss is about level 35).  I since my start buttons are mounted on the FRONT of the cab, I have bumped into them while waiting to continue, and started over instead of continuing.  MORE THAN ONCE!

The other is Time Soldiers.  When I was about 12 I could FINISH it in 7-11 on less than a dollar(I was real pissed the first time I had credits left).  Now I have it at home and can't ever get through the last level.  And yes, the difficulty is as easy as it can be before invincible(which is what happens on the "easy" setting).  I am wondering if my reaction time is half of what it was at 11 years old, or how much money did I really put in that machine to get good enough to beat it for less than a dollar.

BTW - Sometimes it just stinks when you can't continue on the last level,(like in Time Soldiers and Arkanoid at least).  At least the first time, when you FIRST find out when you get there on your last life.  Thats when you wished you died on the level before so you would have 3 lives.
