Back in the day, the arcades of Montreal would stay open as late as 1 or 2am. Usually we'd hit the arcades after eating, and before hitting the bars/clubs. But at least a couple times we went to the arcades after getting plastered at the bars. All I can remember is that I was really lousy at playing games in that condition!

I went to a Hotel arcade and played Maximum Force and vomitted on the controls and screen, so yes!

No Gameworks in Sconie? Head over to Minneapolis (if its close). There's a whole bar/arcade that's open until 2am. I *think* they are still in business, they had some troubles but started allowing bodyshots off the bar and things picked up.

When in my teens I used to drink IN arcades. Then again, our arcades were also the best place to score pot, pills, and oddly enough steroids.

Not pain pills... speeeeeeeed... I was never a drug kid, but I did a hella lot of drinking in those days. Spy Hunter will never be half as much sober as drunk.

Never a dedicated arcade, but my very first time drunk (in the 8th grade) my best friend and I tried to steal a machine from the local bowling alley's arcade.

We had it almost outside before someone noticed us and we ran off.

They chained all the games together after that.

IIRC it was an Omega Fighters Special, and it was really kinda light... it moved around alot when you played it.

I've played Daytona and Galaga a few time at a pub after a few drinks. Sufficed to say, I should have played Daytona with auto transmission selected.

Galaga was no better.

hmm lots and lots of little square pices of paper and i do belive their is a section in my brain that is deacated to just Galaga ( i allways had the top 5 scores ) ...... the section next to that is for Tron , err at least i think it's tron , i seem to rember somthing about bears dancing with grid spiders ......

When I was stationed in Japan they had vending machines that sold 2 and 3 liter beers so I spend quite a bit of time at the arcades with my 3 liters..............

I was trying to fin a pic of an Asahi beer vending machine.... I know it had three liter beers...they were made of some kind of insulated aluminum that kept it cold longer than normal cans...

Sure. When I turned 21, larger bars had large arcades (Mall of America, Mississippi Live) and I would drink and play Street Fighter II Turbo while my girlfriend and her friends partied.

Not exactly something I want written on my tombstone.
