Mame on Xbox - now I appreciate how bad my TV really is
« on: February 27, 2005, 10:59:54 pm »
I put a mod chip in my xbox on the weekend and the first thing I did was load up MAME and give it a try.

I love how easy and user friendly it is, butr the thing that struck me most was how far off the colors on my TV are! have been playing on my arcade monitor for the last 12 months which has great color reproduction, but the TV? yuck!

I've noticed that using component inputs on the TV (if supported) will give you good color.  That's also assuming you're using a good TV.  Even better is an x2vga on a nice VGA monitor!
