I've ordered her a few books, dvd's and a skin for her iPod. I still don't have a clue what to get her as the 'main gift'

Since she doesn't have anything to surprise her I will have to finish our second bathroom. (It's been unfinished for some time now)
You want to really surprise her?  Leave it like it is, and put a big bow across the door.  Take her over to it and tell her "since you looked at all your other gifts, I thought you'd need a reminder that this is one of 'em too"    ;D  Tips for a happy marriage, that's me!  I should be DrDrew or something.....wait, he does the LoveLine thing....damn name thief!

How much do you have to pay for shipping?  I ask, because they have that same set at Wal-Mart for $85.

Oh, and on a side note, Circuit City can pucker up and kiss my rosy phat hairy stanky @$$.

But you can shop there if you wish.  I wouldn't give them a penny if I was able to throw it through their plate glass front window

Got mine (gf - not wife) a new sewing machine.  It's what she wanted - and she got it right away (didn't even wrap it).  She needed it to make other peoples Christmas presents which is why.
But for some reason - even though she got hers 3 weeks early - I have to wait.  What kind of crap is that?!?

I got her to list a few things that she wouldn't mind getting and she said that something to the effect of not wanting the LOTR DVDs until they came out in a complete set...  Well guess what, it does come out in a complete set this month as a mater of fact so I guess that's what she'll be getting.  :D

Of course this could be all part of her big plan and she realy does know about it and was sort of tricking me into thinking I'm clever.  :-\
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

My wife's birthday is December 27th, so I have to figure this out twice... :O

You have my sympathy.  My wife's is New Years Eve...so every year I have to try to make it special for her while everyone else is celebrating for an entirely different reason.

For Xmas she's getting golf clubs, a lot of clothes, and a couple of CDs.

My birthday is on Dec 23... and its Ok.

One thing, make sure you separate the 2 events.  Christmas is for exchanging Christmas gifts and the Birthday is for Birthday events....  One thing that I hated when I was young was getting an all in one Birthday/Christmas gift on Christmas...

lol@certificate for a facial... i can imagine how well that would go over with my conservative girlfriend, she would think I was being perverted.

DVD player is having problems with the digital audio, so Im buying a new DVD player for mine, then kitchen supplies (getting them from William Sonoma, expensive as hell, but nothing says love like a $300 dollar knife set, and thats  the cheaper ones, they go up to $999 easy)

Good luck!

Those Clinique booths in dept. stores at the mall.......

Does anyone know if you can get gift cards for just that stuff or if you have to get a gift card for that dept. store?

because the problem is if I get her a gift card for the dept. store she'll hold on to it and use it through out the year for gifts for other people, but if it's just for the Clinique stuff she will use it for herself.
