Mame linux distro... yet another
« on: November 29, 2004, 07:08:48 am »
Hi.
I've been using debian linux for about a year and i'm very pleased with it, but as i've begun building my mame cabinet and trying to install advancemame on the dedicated mame comp, i've run into a problem:

svgalib 1.9.x wont compile on my debian box. I've followed easymamecab's instructions but hasn't been able to compile it. In the debian forums they tell me that svgalib is broken in debian, but that might only be the apt packages.

Now i'm thinking about testing it on another distro, but before i do that, i would like to see if someone has been able to compile svgalib on debian...

Thanx for any help
