KDS-21 Problem.
« on: October 30, 2004, 02:12:46 pm »
I have one of those KDS monitors, which looks great, but the image is rolled slightly at the top.  Only maybe 1/4".  I haven't found a way to correct his with the OSD settings.  Are there pots inside that I could try?

Just to jump on the band wagon.

I also have one of those KDS monitors. I just hooked it up and it seemed to work fine. Then about 5 -10 minutes later, it shut itself off. I pressed the power button and it came on again. 5 -10 minutes later it shut off again. This time I can't get it back on. I checked everything else and it's definately the monitor. Before I pull it out of my cab, and take it to a shop, does anyone have any suggestions? It makes all the normal CRT monitor type noises when turned on, just no picture.

Also, where is the part that is high voltage in a monitor? I removed the monitor from the outer case (there's still an inner case but missing a top) to install it into the cab. I was afraid to touch anything inside but am just curious about what I should really be afraid of.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
