« on: October 29, 2004, 07:24:50 pm »
i just got my kortek today, and i was wondering, if i still haven't set up my mame computer, ie installed windows xp and everything else, should i worry about unsupported monitor resolutions f-ing up my monitor?  i'm running with an arcade vga also if this matters.  thanks for the help guys.

1) There shouldn't be anything the ArcadeVGA can output (at least not without special drivers) that that monitor can't handle.

2) You'll want to download the WG 9200 files from Ultimarc's website so that you can run non-interlaced higher resolution modes.

3) Color me jealous.  Probably gonna have to wait 'til tax time to order my Kortek.

 ;)

Just something to think about....the monitor lists at $470 or whatever, but it's on sale for $399 right now. I called up Betson pacific and put in my order at $470, and he called me back 5 mins later to tell me it's on sale. I think people have talked about this on here....but maybe we need a post just about the sale.

someone already has posted the sale, and it was actually me, so your posts a little late.  :P

The sale's been posted about before, but no one's ever said how long it's running...  I'd love to save $70, but the existance of a sale doesn't make me ~$470 (monitor + shipping) right this second.   :(

Maybe I'll see about getting a credit card...  I could probably swing half now, and the interest on the other $250 would be less than $70 if I have it paid off by the end of the year...  Viva rationalization!   ;D
