FF steering wheel for XBox & PS2
« on: June 28, 2004, 06:55:43 am »
I'm looking for a FF steering wheel that is compatible with both PS2 and Xbox. I'm currently looking at the "Thrustmaster Universal 360 Modena Racing Wheel".
Does anyone have experience with this wheel? Other suggestions are welcome!

I plan to put the steering wheel in a sit-down driving cabinet. I'm looking for a wheel that I can use with my PS2 (for BurnOut and Gran Turismo) and perhaps later add the XBox (I'm looking forward to the OutRun 2 port for XBox soon).

Suggestions are welcome!

...I use the Intec FF wheel from Toys R US. It's got a really strong pull and loads of fun.

I think it cost about $80-$90. bucks.

I picked it up about 6 months ago. It works w/XBox, GameCube and PS2.

I found it on another website. TRU may have discontinued it. It works great!

Thanks for the tip! Looks like a nice steering wheel. Unfortunately it is not carried by the European Toys'r'Us :-(
I will check a console speciality shop later this weekend for this wheel. They can import lots of stuff, perhaps they can import this one as well.
