Third Design - The Pac Mame Vertical

As some of you will already know I'm not able to actually do any practical arcade work at the moment. To keep myself interested in the hobby I've been putting together several designs. My main cabinet is a multi purpose mame monster and the second will hopefully be a retro cocktail to play some of my favorite mid-eighties horizontal games.

So what could I do next? Well I decided that I would also like a cabinet dedicated to vertical games, also something with a more classic look. I had considered replicating a classic cabinet such as a Pacman or a Donkey Kong, but these are a little too colorful and I also wanted something a little smaller.

I had already started modeling a cabinet based on the Pacman shape so when I saw this thread (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=18046) by Flampoo it answered a lot of my outstanding questions (color scheme, size etc), so I

I'm flattered. They both look good, too. Makes me wish I would have installed a coin door on the cab even though she didn't pay me for one. What are the determining factors in your decision for cab design? Are you leaning toward one over the other?
I'd love to see the progress once you start!
