Just got a tm-202g monitor (thanks gamedork) and I'm trying to troubleshoot it. It has no highvolatage and the crt heater is not active.
I've got 138 volts dc out of the powersupply section.
The monitor calls for 123.
So according to the trouble shooting chart at
http://slot-tech-ftp.serveftp.com:8080/monitors/flowcharts/generic%20flowchart.jpgI need to check to measure the voltage at the collector of the hot.
I need to know what the hot is...
Horizontal Output transistor??
Is this the flyback?
Manual is available at
http://www.mikesarcade.com/arcade/manuals/monitor/TM202G.pdfBtw I've reflowed the solder on the entire hv section.
This monitor looks really good conditon, it would be a shame not to fix it.
(Besides I need the practice, I've been away from the hobby for 7 years.)
Thanks
Later,
