Recommendations on a 25" TV for Lusid 4-player cabinet?
« on: March 13, 2004, 02:49:42 am »
Alright... it has been 6 months in the making, but I finally finished my cabinet.  It is painted and ready to go, I am dying to get this done.

Anyways, I have a Radeon 8500 w/SVid Out, does anyone have any suggestions on a good 25" TV that will fit well in the basic cabinet that Lusid designed?  Also, what kind of supports are you guys using for the monitors?  I have 5 2" screws on each side of the Monitor Stand mounted to the side of the cabinet, but I just want to make sure that is enough to hold a TV.  The cabinet was built with 3/4 MDF.

Thanks in advance, I would appreciate any insight, I plan on going shopping tomorrow!

My cab 1st  is the same size as the Lusid cab and somewhat based on his plans.

I couldn't find many good 25 "TV's to fit inside, their are many 25" TV's but not many with S-video which is important.

It seems that most 27" have S-video but they are too big to fit in that cab. I think I did find one but I didn't buy it because I didn't like it so I gave up and got a WG9200.

I used 2x4's below my shelf for extra support.
