One of the Cheech & Chong movies, don't remember which one.

"Are you just telling us what we want to hear?"
"No sir, no way."
"Because we just want to hear the truth."
"Well, I guess I am telling you what you want to hear."
"Boy, didn't we just tell you not to do that?"

Putting all the words from this quote into a google search produces some really interesting hits. The first one is for a dating service! What could all those words possibly have to do with the singles scene?

PS, if you search as a quote (all words inside "") then you get the movie Top Secret!. If you just put all the words in Google with no quotes around then you get very unusual hits...

"...all great artists that asphyxiated on their own vomit!"

from my favorite movie
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Man, I am no good with some of these lines, but oh well, here's another....

"Badges?  We don't need no steeenking badges!"

This can also be Blazing Saddles.

Here's a couple for ya, should be easy.

"God Creates Dinosaurs.  God destroys Dinosaurs.  God creates man.  Man destroys god.  Man creates dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs eat man  .Woman inherits the earth."

"A hospital . . what is it?
Its a big building with patients, but that's not  important right now.  "

"What do you do to an elephant with three balls? You walk him, and pitch to the rhino."

I'll give you my two favorite quotes form this movie.
"You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity."
"Why are we stopped here? Whats wrong with that spot?
It's too tight.
Too tight? You could land a jumbo f***ing jet in that!"

"Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
I wouldn't say I've been 'missing' it Bob."

"They're armed.
Armed, armed with what?
Err, bad breath, colorful language, feather duster... what do you think they're gonna be armed with? Guns, you tit!"

"Noah was a drunk. Look what he accomplished. And no one's even asking you to build an ark. All you have to do is go to New Jersey."

"Give me a name!
Weren't your parents supposed to do that?"

"We just drove 2,460 miles just for a little Roy Walley entertainment. The moose says your closed. I say your open."

"We'd have more luck playing pick-up sticks with our butt-cheeks than we will getting a flight out of here before daybreak."

"And why would the people listen to you?
Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent."

"Look. I'm not the first guy who fell in love with a girl he met in a restaurant, who then turned out to be the daughter of a kidnapped scientist, only to lose her to a childhood lover who she'd last seen on a deserted island and who turned out 15 years later to be the leader of the French underground.
I know it, it all sounds like some bad movie."

alright, I had to add a tougher one
"The rhino is the self appointed fire prevention officer. When he sees a fire, he rushes in and stamps it out."

You really like Zucker and Abrahams movies don't you?

My turn for obscure(-ish):

"You can check your anatomy all you want, and even though there may be normal variation, when it comes right down to it, this far inside the head it all looks the same. No, no, no, don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to."

I haven't answered ANY of these, but I was watching something tonight and saw a hilarious variation on the "sharpest tool in the shed, elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor, lights are on but nobody's home" thing.

"I do believe this boy's cheese done slid of his cracker"

Even my WIFE laughed, so it's gotta be funny.

You got me on two of those.  I think I figured out where the "Matress Man" quote came from but I had to do a search to find it, so I won't post it.

I have no clue on the ""Hold Me" one.

This was hard to choose, as there are about a thousand brilliant lines from this movie.  Everyone's seen it, though.  You'll get it in no time.

Good job on Edward Scissorhands.  Mattress man is still up for grabs.  It's from memory, so it's probably somewhat paraphrased.

Both of these are from the same movie, but I couldn't resist:

"I want you to be as quiet as an ant thinking about pissing on cotton."

And:

Yeah, I like DeNiro quite a bit.  He doesn't really do anything challenging anymore.  That's okay, I don't blame him.  If I had already accomplished what he has I'd totally take it easy, kind of semi-retire.  He still makes some pretty decent movies like Ronin and The Score (and some crap like the Analyze movies and Rocky and Bullwinkle), but nothing like he used to.

Mattress man is still up for grabs.  It's from memory, so it's probably somewhat paraphrased.
