Aimtrak with Dual Monitor Setup
« on: March 13, 2020, 03:27:41 pm »
I just received two Aimtrak light guns. I am unable to get them calibrated when using two monitors within Windows 10. The second monitor is typically used as a marquee display. Thanks for the assistance.

Where is your bar positioned?

It is above the main monitor. The problem is that the calibration runs on both screens, not just the one. The main monitor is a 27 inch in a cabinet with a 7 inch monitor up higher on the cabinet.Which is used as a marquee display.

Hmm that is indeed a doozy.
I wonder if you can disable the mouse for the second screen somehow?

Can you not disable the marquee monitor within windows, do the calibration and then enable it again?

That's the same layout as mine. Pretty sure the 2and monitor being on has no impact on calibration.

When calibrating it only appears on the main crt

Andy at Ultimarc had discussed this in another thread (don’t remember where).  Apparently dual monitor setups (like with a dynamic marquee) causes problems in Windows 10 with 2 guns.  Apparently Windows 7 is fine....
