game elf 412 in 1 upright two trackballs
« on: October 23, 2019, 06:22:08 pm »
I have the 60 in 1 game elf and both trackballs work but when i got my 412 in 1 i cannot get the
second trackball to work.  The only time it somewhat works is when i use this splitter cable and then
the joystick on player one works up and down and the trackball on player two works left and right

Without seeing the whole harness and connection to the trackballs it's difficult to say. But I would suspect you have something wired wrong in the "splitter".  Is that a homemade cable? The cable you buy should have all the wiring for two trackballs.  Or it could be a compatibility issue with the game you're trying to play.

See the attachments for pin-outs on the 412 in 1.  and the pin-outs for a 60 in 1  (PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PINOUTS FOR GRANTED, ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK VOLTAGE and GND)

So looking at that previously you would have had 2 x 6 pin connectors both with gnd and 5v connections, 1 for each trackball,  looks like the new board has 2 x 5 pin and shares 5v and ground.  I'm sure with the pin outs you should be able to create a converter for them.

Hope that helps a bit.
