I have been playing with the new version of GroovyMAME (162), now that it has combined in the mainstream with MESS.
I managed to launch a Sega Genesis game, and have the resolution switch correctly. It looks amazing, better than I remember as a kid.
I am thinking of expanding my Arcade Cabinet from a MAME setup with 50 favourites, expanding to supporting Genesis (Megadrive where I come from), Super Nintendo, Amiga 500, Amiga CD32.
I think that I have Genesis and SNES covered, as they are well supported by MAME now, but the Amiga emulation seems less so.
Looking in to RocketLauncher and FS-UAE I think that I can get the emulation working well, however it will be missing the great features of Switchres...
So my question is:
Should I continue to explore Amiga Emulation with GroovyMAME, or should I try and figure out how I can get FS-UAE to SwitchRes?
Thoughts and suggestions welcome.
