My anti-chuff is going to craigslist, searching for "arcade" and all the top results are the machines I'M selling.

Another factor might be that the quality of the builds here is so damn high. People who are new to this, having zero experience, might be a bit intimidated by the awesome builds floating around here. I certainly was.

True enough. there's a lot of great builds here.

But people shouldn't let that stop them.

Tru dat.  My first build was a weecade.  It was okay but the great builds on here convinced me  I could do better.  So I built a Nintendo cab that I am very pleased with.  But there are some folks who take it to extremes... *cough* *cough* Purple wire that matches their cab... *cough* *cough*

Haha!   I wouldn't say that's extreme. People roll their own wire harnesses all the time. I just got lucky the wire I could buy matched my paint.  And in my defence, FLYNN's and my Donkey Kong cab are my first and second builds respectively.

It's ok for sitting stuff out on the curb for free and getting rid of it.
I get emails from people asking me to hold free crap for them though, so there is still a level of annoyance.

That's the only thing I use craigslist for.

Hm.. hadn't pulled up Craig's List in at least a year until this thread.  Clogged up with the same idiots that don't live within 250 miles trying to hustle their crap on us, people wanting $1,000+ for JAMMA junk, multi-cades, and "I BUY PINBALL MACHINES" ads.

Nothing changes.

Look at this great deal you're getting on LED controls and ALZ THE GAMEZ.... merely $2500!!!!!

It makes me want to vomit....  ESPECIALLY when they hack up cabs to do it!

That's not an ATM. I looks like one of those old pay for internet time computers that used to be in airports and ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. ATMs don't have bill acceptors...

That's a really good point. It also has a keyboard and some ball mouse on it. Is that a webcam above the screen?

Either way, that thing is weird as hell.

I thought it was tacky when he added LED buttons to that Louis Vuitton, though. Had to be said.

Ok, no more advice, feedback, or opinions from me for the rest of the year. Sorry I'm not a "Gee, champ, you're a rockstar!!!" kind of guy, but I hate unproductive feedback, and but it seems like honest opinions aren't welcome if it may hurt someone's feeling. Since I am a bad judge of that, I just won't offer any. What do I know, anyway?

I got some Anti-Chuff  :badmood:  I keep damaging things.......on me.  My tally so far over the last few weeks is:

1. Fractured right knee, my dog ( a big Red Heeler), whose head is made of concrete ran full-on into the side of my knee while playing with his best mate (a Staffy Bull Terrier) down at the park.  I heard and felt a pop as I went down only to have the two dogs jump and slobber all over me.  My Meniscus is ruptured and a bone fractured.  I've had an MRI and have to wear a brace for six weeks.

2. Stubbed left small toe on a metal desk leg - torn ligaments, bruising & swelling not a big deal, lucky it didn't break but still hurt like hell though.

3. Yesterday I came off my pushbike, going at speed down a hill, I went over the handle bars onto the concrete path and grazed up my arm and shoulder, this could have been a lot worse, I guess I just rolled the right way when I hit  :dizzy:.  My helmet has a nice dent in it now.

Blah,  the leg brace is kinda cool with a Mad Max hinge type thing going on. Too cavalier, old age or both  :dunno.
