My hat comes off for this one.
I just hope that he got some way through the next part of the long earth series with Stephen Baxter.
 I know he finished one more DW novel. My bookshelf will be a much poorer place without his additions.

His bio said he had alzheimer's for the past 5 years so I would not hold out much hope he got a lot done in the past few years.
